I recently bought a few holiday-themed sticker sheets from Hobby Lobby. I am using them to make cards for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I used one of the Santa stickers for this card, since it fit perfectly with the sketch #SC560 that I chose.
I first cut & punched a border strip from a scrap of gold cardstock from American Crafts that I had in my stash. I went ahead & adhered that to my red card front panel, so I could get the spacing right for the window & greeting. I then die cut my window in the panel with a "Nested Scallops" die. Since the Santa sticker has so much red in his suit, I didn't want him right up against the red card front. So I used a circle die to cut a slightly smaller window in a scrap of white cardstock. I adhered that behind my panel, centered in the scallop circle window. I positioned yet another scrap of pale blue cardstock behind the window, and adhered my Santa sticker on that. I put some liquid glue on the back of the sticker, just so I'd have a little play time to position him. I glued the blue piece to the back of the red panel so Santa peeks through the window. I positioned the sticker with his sack slightly overlapping the frame--I love how that worked out!
I stamped my greeting, from "Peace Joy Love," in Versamark ink in the lower right corner of my red panel. I then heat embossed that with white. I adhered my panel to a white A2 card base, and this CAS card was done!

Oh, Andrea, this is absolutely darling! I love this sweet Santa and how perfectly he fits into the circle...and I LOVE how his sack that is surely filled with gifts is just a wee bit outside the circle. Beautifully done, sweet friend! You are so dear to make these cards for the children! I love it and they will too! Hugs! xoxo
